Exquisite pair of wine coolers

Exquisite pair of wine coolers in silver-plated metal and engraved gilded bronze. Octagonal base decorated with malachite stone from the Urals, bordered with a pearl frieze and finished with hoof-shaped feet. The vase is a Medici-like krater with rich and delicate decoration and engraved with frieze of vine branches. It is flanked by two fluted handles with foliage fastenings.

The silver cups are English work circa 1850.
The base is Russian work circa 1850.
