Center vase – Manufacture de Sèvres

Very beautiful center vase forming a large, multi-coloured porcelain perfume burner from the Sevres factory decorated in engraved, gilded bronze. The body has a big blue background and a gold partridge eye, engraved on one side with two medallions animated with gallant scenes from Lancret and on the other with a marine scene from Vernet. Two handles decorated with sheathed putti, holding garlands offlowers. Pedestal with deep grooves offloret friezes.
