Maison Barbedienne
Rare pair of amphora vases in matt silver and burnished bronze.
The square base is highlighted with a frieze of pearls. The vases have a finely carved body depicting an ancient offering scene with women. Double serpent handles entwined with a Bacchus head.
Attributed to the Manufacture de bronze Barbedienne à Paris.
French work around 1890.
