Rocaille cage chandelier by François Linke

Exceptional and extremely rare chandelier, Rocaille style cage in gilded bronze and crystals with decoration of shells, oak branches, acanthus leaves, feather motifs.
A weaved basket in gilded bronze and openwork is in its centre which includes a crystal baluster column attached at the top by five arms of lights with rouleau surmounted by five crystal points.
Illuminated with sixteen lights on four tiers and adorned at the tips with moulded crystal flower petals.
Highly impressive crystal decor: plates, flower petals, water drops, points and a star from Maison Baccarat.

French work from the end of the XIX century around 1900.
