Pair of Louis XVI style urns with lamps – MAISON JOLLET

Pair of covered baluster-shaped urns with a piedouche in antique green marble and a rich decoration of engraved and gilded bronze with matt and burnished gold. Vase body designed with intricate circular mouldings and adorned in its centre with openwork handles with acanthus leaf motifs. Joined by a hanging laurel garland centred in the middle with a bow. Bronze neck lampshade, lids decorated with fluted gadroons.
Flare-shaped piedouche with moulded grooves, adorned with a laurel ribbon in the centre.
French work from the end of the 19th century, around 1890.
Signed on the bronze Maison Jollet & Cie Bronzier d’Ar, formerly maison Colin.
