Long and large cabinet model known as bibus Attributed to Henry Dasson

Cabinet model known as a “bibus”, with a long and large cut-out window. Louis XVI style, inlaid with Amboyna burl, mahogany and mahogany marquetry. Very richly decorated with finely engraved and gilded bronze, brown gold and matt gold. Three glass doors open on the façade, a large central door and two smaller doors. They are connected by a bronze frame with rais-de-cœur motifs and rosette corners. Carved uprights decorated with flat fluted columns in mahogany and with asparagus motifs in gilded bronze, surmounted by a Corinthian capital. Cut-out sides, also with rosette corners and marquetry sections, in a bronze frame. The central part rests on a base moulding the shape of the cut-out and is supported by six small toupie feet with bronze ends. Jaune fleuri marble top surmounted by an openwork baluster section in gilded bronze, open in the middle.
