Exhibition vitrine by linke françois
Linke Francois
Rare satined mahogany vitrine for salon. Rich ornamentation of chiseled and gilded-bronzes. Model also named ‘in armoire’ on four claw feet with acanthus. The low-apron ornate with a frieze of interlaces and acanthus. Straight façade and sides with beveled glazes, pearls frieze and bronze frame. The cornice ornate with two dolphins. The front-panel presents a frieze of ‘pampres’. Four glass shelves.
The satined- mahogany is very thin, and the sober ornamentation of thin and rare molding puts in relief the bronzes, with their superb chiseling and original gilding.
Signed on one dolphin in the right-high part F. LINKE.
All the bronzes are signed under cover Linke.
