Beautiful pair of Louis XVI style baluster vases in polychrome porcelain and enamelled pearls by the manufacture de Sèvres.
The body is decorated with paintings representing Cupids after François Boucher. Rich ornamentation of engraved and gilded bronze: delicate handles consist of busts of putti sheathed with acanthus leaves supporting a crown of flowers, attributes of Cupid on the bronze base.
Hallmark of Parisian manufacture Maison Picard stamped on bronze.
Porcelain from the manufacture de Sèvres.
The paintings are signed F. Bellanger.
French work circa 1870-1880. Napoleon III period.
