Regence desk clock BY GRIBELIN NICOLAS

Large desk clock, in engraved and gilded bronze, Regence style.
The movement is demonstrated in a body of openwork arched on the bottom with a man’s head and in the upper part a Regence shell, overhung by a seated Cupid, holding a torch at arm’s length. Delicate white enamelled dial with blue Roman numerals. Curved and bevelled glass bezel.
It rests on four small arched feet.

Dial signed Gribelin à Paris.
