Bronze group with black patina representing Satyr and Bacchante, who holds in her hand a reed branch which she pokes in the Satyr’s ear teasing him. Sitting on a tree stump is a Satyr playing the double flute. At his feet Bacchus child listens.
Based on an 18th century Clodion model.
French work produced in the first part of the XIX century around 1850.
