Two white Carrara marble sculptures forming a pair, one representing Venus in the bath after Allegrain and the second sculpture, the Bather after Falconet. They rest on a cylindrical base and a cubic plinth with fluted cartouches motifs in Turquin blue marble, highlighted by a gold ribbon in gilded bronze.
French work inspired by original sculptures from Allegrain and Falconet, circa 1760-1770.
