Bronze group with black patina representing a scene from the Bacchanalia composed of Pan kneeling on a tree stump, playing the flute, in order to seduce Ariadne naked and lying on a rock. At his feet a young bacchante and a young faun observe the scene.
French work from the mid-nineteenth century, period of Napoleon III, around 1870.
Following a model produced in the XVIII century by the Sculptor Clodion.
